Celebrate Mother’s day with this simple recipe

Mother’s Day is a special day that celebrates the love and watch that maters give. One of the stylish ways to show your mom your love and appreciation for her is by cooking a special meal. However, this easy Indian veggie omelette is the perfect choice for you if your mom loves simple dishes. Besan Chilla is a veg omelette made with chickpea flour (besan) and vegetables. An easy- to- make, protein-rich, healthy and succulent breakfast or brunch option.

Ingredient:
• 1 Bowl chickpea flour( besan)
• Cup of water
• 1 onion, diced
• 1 tomato diced
• 2-3 green chilli diced
• 4 tablespoon turmeric
• Cumin
• 1/4 tablespoon salt
• 2 tsp oil
• coriander leaves for garnish

Method:
In a bowl, combine chickpea flour, water, turmeric, cumin, and mix to form a smooth dough. Add diced onion, tomato and green chili to the batter and mix well. On a non stick pan add 1 teaspoon of oil. Pour a scoop of batter into the pan and spread evenly. Keep the flame low for 2- 3 mins or until the bottom is golden brown. Flip the Chilla over and cook the other side for 1- 2 mins. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with chutney or ketchup. This easy Indian veggie omelette dish is a healthy and succulent way to celebrate Mother’s Day. You can also customize the form by adding other vegetables and spices that your mother loves.
